Our Team Day with Neela Enke

On December 17, our team gathered for a special Team Day under the guidance of Neela Enke from Scienza, a trained coach and mediator. The day began with an engaging warm-up session focused on our team dynamics. Together, we reflected on key aspects such as communication, support, job satisfaction, and appreciation within the team. This set the stage for deeper discussions and insights throughout the day.
A key part of the conversation was dedicated to a productive dialogue between our two PhD students and the supervisors. This session allowed for the exchange of needs, plans, and ideas for improvement, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration, trust, and mutual understanding. The constructive discussions throughout the day not only provided valuable insights and feedback but also strengthened our bond as a team. The team day reflected the appreciation within the team that will positively shape our work moving forward.
To wrap up the day, we added a festive touch with a little Christmas celebration. This included a city walking tour where we explored some of Halle’s key historical landmarks and scenic spots. It gave us a chance to learn more about the city’s history and architecture while enjoying a nice walk together, followed by some warm and delicious “Glühwein” and “Handbrot” at Halle’s Christmas market. It was the perfect way to round off the year in a cheerful holiday spirit.
